Description
The 18” x 48" Windsock frame kit is easy to assemble and install. The Kit includes one 18” diameter x 48” long windsock in your choice of fabric (Nylon, Vinyl or Canvas), our premium powdercoated steel 18” windsock frame with mounting kit and UV rated zip ties for easy and secure attachment of the windsock to the frame.
The 18" diameter x 48" long windsock is the 4 ft long version of the FAA size 1 aviation windsock. It is commonly used on airport runways, airstrips, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs. The throat and tail of each 18" windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. Windsocks are sewn with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame.
