Description
The highly visible 18" diameter x 60" long vinyl windsock is the 5 ft. version of the standard FAA size 1 aviation windsock. It is the preferred size for use on airport runways, airstrips, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs.
Our windsocks are made in the USA to FAA specifications using the highest quality materials available. The throat and tail of the 18" windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. Windsocks are double stitched with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame. This windsock is fabricated from fluorescent vinyl-coated polyester, which is highly visible and long lasting.
