Description
Replacement windsock only.
The highly visible 36" diameter x 144" (12 ft) long vinyl windsock is the FAA size 2 windsock. This size is commonly used for airport runways, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs.
Our windsocks are made in the USA to FAA specifications using the highest quality materials available. The throat and tail of the 36" windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. Windsocks are double stitched with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame. This windsock is fabricated from fluorescent vinyl-coated polyester, which is highly visible and long lasting.

Windsock for High Winds
Way better than the nylon one that came with the lighted windsock tower. It is a little stiff at first buy after a week it performs as it should. I would rate it 5 stars if it came with heavier zip ties. Works great in Western Kansas winds.

Viny vs. Nylon
The vinyl appears to be tougher than nylon. It still works well with the interior light that is on our windsock tower. Correct fitment. Will find out in a year if it is actually tougher than nylon.
